Well the new year has finally arrived. I am fully aware that some of you probably made new years resolutions declaring what you are going to do this year that you did not do last year or the year before. However the real fact of the matter is that if you do anything this year it will probably be more than you did last year. Now that I have your attention ...
There are no logical reason to allow this year to come and go like the years before without making the changes necessary to see that your life lines up with the purposes and plans of God for you. While that is not a new thought many have never followed through with the action that matches their words of resolution. A resolution is only a resolution when one is resolute meaning they will not allow anything to detour or detract them from their declaration.
We all know that our current seated president ran on the platform four years ago of "CHANGE". I regret to inform you that he has produced exactly what he said he would and not all of it has been for our good. I pray for him every day but honesty do not agree with all of his politics. When what is said and done is against what the Bible says - to quote the old saints ... " I be a'gin what God be a'gin and I be fer what God be fer." Can I get a witness?
I declare and decree that 2012 is a year of "real change" in the earth. The number12 is the number of government. There were 12 tribes in Israel, 12 months in a year, 12 hours to each half of a day. 12 is a governmental number and my prayer today is found in:
Matthew 6:9-13
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. (KJV)
The verse I want us to key in on is number 10: Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. I trust that everyone is fully aware that His will is already being done in heaven. So this year our focus is to reach into heaven and bring His government to the earth. It must first begin in your natural earth ... inside of you - then to the physical earth we live in. Until we set up His throne of government in our own lives we can never expect to make the kingdoms of this world the Kingdoms of the Lord! 2012 is the year of God's GOVERNMENT! Send it on down Lord ... send it on down!
Without government we have chaos, confusion, and anarchy. Lawlessness will abound and the love of many will wax cold. I have learned that as long as the King of the universe is in charge He has NEVER done me anything but GOOD!!!!!
